Nourishing Communities. Empowering Change. Serving with Purpose
About Me
Hi, I’m Reneé—a systems thinker, hospitality veteran, and people-first leader with over 12 years of experience running a mission-driven café in New Orleans.
At my café, I managed daily operations, led a team rooted in servant leadership, and built strong customer loyalty in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. I created professional development opportunities for staff, navigated complex challenges (from equipment failures to long lines), and kept both team morale and service standards high.
During the pandemic, I launched a pantry line that became a wholesale business—an example of how I lead with adaptability, innovation, and care for both people and the bottom line.
That experience inspired me to deepen my understanding of health and systems, so I returned to college in my 40s to earn a second bachelor’s in Dietetics. I’m now completing a Master of Public Health while looking for opportunities to grow that value strong leadership, customer service, and continuous improvement.
